Tax for heroism 10 - Mistakes
Maybe Pleasure was right. Man is responsible for his decisions and choices, but no matter how powerful he may be and what his abilities are, he cannot be responsible for everything that happens around him. He is not responsible for the actions of others, and sometimes, although he acts to the best of his conscience and consciousness, it turns out to be the worst thing he could do. Peter knew he was supposed to tell Alex about the threatening letter, but he didn't, and instead sent him to Harry's party. He knew that if he told him, the spy wouldn't let Peter go instead him. After all, he would do the same in his place, because that's what the hero does. Pere won't let his friend go into the trap that was originally set for him. So it seemed natural and sensible to keep the threatening message to himself, send Pleasure to the party, and the villain was left to the hero, who had superpowers. Which, of course, turned out to be utter nonsense. On March 19, it was a relatively warm night

Tax for heroism 11 - Tiredness
The Black Widows were destroyed, the Green Goblin's plan to make theft of the century and conquer the entire New York organized crime, failed. The villain was discovered and caught, yet Peter did not feel a warm sense of accomplishment. It turned out that the Goblin had always been Norman Osborn, Harry's father. The man who had simply gone mad in an accident in the laboratory and now lost his memory in the battle against Spider-Man, which brought him back to his original self, who only wanted to see his son, whose safety he had not previously thought about in his villainous attack. So maybe Peter should have felt compassion and sadness for his classmate and the beaten man he had brought to Osborn's manor on his cobwebs. However, the truth was that all he felt was fatigue. All the muscles in his body ached, his eyelids were heavy, and his head was shaking. He was just looking forward to taking off his superhero costume and curling up on the bed in soft duvets. Harry was there as he

When he finally approached the school dorms where Harry's party was held, he saw an orange glow from a distance and heard the sirens sound. Light the flames from the fire! Damn, that wasn't a good sign. Peter cursed vulgarly and tried to speed up despite his aching body. In a few seconds, he landed in the square in front of the school next to fire trucks. He looked around. There many people were running around: police officers, firefighters and rescuers. It seemed that most of the innocent had already been evacuated. Alex was standing by one of the police cars. No one noticed the spider-man, so he simply headed for his friend. “I'm sorry, I couldn't come sooner. I had to stop the Green Goblin, who had planned all this,” he exhaled, when he ran up to the spy. He nodded wordlessly. The superhero looked closely at Alex. Pleasure had his left leg bandaged, his arms and head adorned with a few scratches, and he looked quite exhausted, but otherwise fine. Still, Peter didn't hold back and

Threats Peter stared at the two envelopes that someone had pushed under their door into the room. Both were usually white, but one hid a brightly colored party invitation hosted by Harry, and the other a short message. On Friday, March 19, 20:00, arrive at the roof of the Flatiron Building. If you don't, your loved one will pay for it. Nothing else stood there, so the message could be interpreted differently, it could have been a joke, but during his long career as a superhero, he had already received many similar letters to recognize the threat of death. The fact that the message did not contain an address, the name of the addressee, a mark and other formalities was certainly one of the indicators. Another indicator was that the two sentences were typed on a computer and then printed out when it would be faster to write them by hand. If Peter knew, his last nemesis, the Green Goblin didn't yet know the true identity of Spider-Man, although since that incident with the Mysterio

Spider-Man vs. The Lizard- Battle for New York pt2
Last Time Spider-Man foiled a robbery attempt by Mysterio using the illusion of a kaiju attack to rob a jewelry store, leading to more questions than answers. Dismissed from his teaching position for conducting unauthorized experiments, Dr. Curt Connors is now in the employ of Norman Osborn, both of them eager to unlock the secrets of Godzilla’s regeneration, but for different reasons. Mary-Jane Watson thinks she has a lead on a criminal conspiracy, but her hopes are seemingly dashed by J. Jonah Jameson. She knows she needs more substantive evidence before he’ll listen to her, but she doesn’t know how difficult getting that evidence might be. Part 2 THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS The rain had started sometime overnight and by the afternoon still showed no sign of stopping, the skies over New York City an opaque ceiling of grey clouds. Somewhere down underneath them, a damn burst, and a flood of teenagers were liberated from the confines of Midtown Highschool. Among them, an unassuming
Duty Corridor in front of Dr. Connors's office was full of students, which stamping nervously, talking quietly to each other, feverishly flipping through the notes, hoping they they quickly engrave something in their memory. The exam period means a sea of stress, uncertainty and duties for students and cantors. This group of students was lucky; they were those who had already passed the written test. Nevertheless they still hadn't won; the final oral exam awaited them. Peter Parker sat, like many others from the group of students, on the steps beside the cabinet door. He didn't look at the notes from the lectures, instead staring at his roommate standing by the wall opposite him. His mind wasn't preoccupied with biochemistry; he kept thinking his conversation with Fury. Although he confirmed Alex's cooperation with the CIA, he expressed some surprise that this particular man is still available. For some strange reason, boss S.H.I.E.L.D. had the impression that Pleasure, or Agent

Scars “Where have you been?” Pleasure greeted him when he finally stood on the doorstep of their room. He had to remember in his mind that Alex had no idea of his secret identity, and if he wanted to arrest him, it should stay that way. “I took some holiday. You know, Halloween parties, friends… You might as well try it someday,” he recited his prepared excuse. The blonde said nothing, just looked at him with suspicion. It was clear, that he didn't believe the declaration very much, and Peter couldn't help comparing that his so-called friend was like a dangerous dog sniffing all around him. He preferred not to say anything more and just fell on the bed. His leg still hurt a lot. Alex returned to reading the book he had held before Peter burst into their room. The wounded hero wanted to fall asleep, but despite the pain and stress, which was clearly due to the presence of the killer in the room, he didn't succeed. So he just lay there and stared at the wall before deciding to take
